The Lenovo IdeaPad S12 is a great spec netbook that delivers on all grounds. Firstly, it features a larger than normal screen at 12.1″ making it big enough for people wanting a portable netbook with a larger screen. It also comes with a more powerful than standard chipset that make it a good contender for playing games. This puts it in the most powerful netbook leagues.

The machine looks fantastic and comes in black or white and even manages to rival a mac on look and feel. It also has a larger sized keyboard for a netbook making it very easy to type on. The trackpad is also easy to use and blends into the case nicely.

The large screen makes it a joy to use and features 1280 by 800 resolution. The rest of the spec is pretty standard for a netbook with a number of ports and wireless connectivity and 1GB of RAM but features hard disks up to 320GB which is double the size of the competition.

The Lenovo IdeaPad S12 also features some unique features such as one click back up and face recognition!

This is a great choice for a higher spec, higher end netbook at the same price as most of the competition.

The Lenovo IdeaPad S10e is a netbook aimed at the business market. The company is well respected as producing some excellent quality laptops for the business market and this is their first netbook. Even though this is their first netbook, it has pushed its way to one of the best on the market. It weighs in at just over 1kg and has a tiny chassis.

The battery life isn’t the best of the netbook market but still manages to produce over 3 hours of power. This is a minor point however, the system produces excellent results elsewhere. The keyboard is excellent and even after long term use there are no issues with typing. It also features a great touchpad.

The machine performs well and features a good quality Intel Atom processor, 1GB RAM and 160GB hard disk which is a fairly standard spec on a netbook. Even so, it seems to perform better than many of its counterparts.

The screen is one of its best features. It is 10.2″ in size and produces some of the sharpest results. It features many expansion slots including a 4 in 1 card reader which will read many different flash card formats.

This is a great netbook that will suit regular travellers that require an ultra compact machine with great usability and is one of the best machines in its class.

Lenovo are specialists in producing market leading laptops. The Lenovo IdeaPad U350 is a great mid-range option. It is a portable machine that offers good features for an excellent price.

The U350 has a great designed case which should be protected by one of the great laptop bags available online and is very light at under 2kg making it a great option for travel. It has a good battery that will power it for over 4 hours. It features a nice keyboard that can be used for long periods and the touchpad is nice and responsive. It also features the ability to zoom in and out using a Mac style touchpad interface.

The machine features a 13.3″ screen which displays well and adjusts to the light in your location. It features a good spec with 3GB RAM and a very nice sized 320GB hard disk which also features shock protection. The machine doesn’t feature an optical drive which is as expected for such a small and light travel machine. It features many expansion slots including a number of USB slots and a 3 in 1 card reader.

This is a great lightweight machine with a very strong spec that can be used for travel and home use very comfortably.
