To put it simply, Samsung have done it again! They are one of the key manufacturers that have put their weight behind the growing netbook market having released many boundary pushing machines. The Samsung N210 is a great option if you are considering which laptop to buy.
The machine comes in two colours and weighs just 1Kg making is extremely light and perfect for traveling. Samsung boast the ability to get up to 12 hours battery power from one charge which put it at the front of the netbook pack when it comes to battery power.
It has a solid case and a really good size keyboard considering the small size of the machine. Extended typing on the N210 is very comfortable and a lot better than many of the competition.
The 10.1″ screen features a matt coating that reduces reflection and make it very easy to use outdoors which add to its travel credentials.
It features the netbook standard 1GB RAM, however, this is easily upgraded to 2GB. It also has a huge 250GB hard disk and a powerful processor. The spec is not that far from an entry level laptop which is fantastic for such a small machine.
It is very comfortable running microsoft applications, a couple of web browsers and one or two other applications at the same time. Video playback is smooth as is music.

Samsung R610 is a 16″ widescreen laptop that really delivers. It features a 1920 x 1080 resolution that is extremely sharp. It also has a 16:9 aspect ration making it great to watch films on.
The R610 isn’t a true gaming machine and there are better options out there but it can handle less demanding games well. It features an attractive casing and weighs less than 3kg making it still relatively portable.
It comes with a very usable keyboard and trackpad that can be used for hours without any effort! The rest of the specification includes 3GB RAM, 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo and a large hard disk. The cherry on the cake though is the the addition of a Blu-ray drive which is very rare in this price bracket.

Samsung N310 is the latest. It looks great and they have really given some thought to the casing of the unit. It features a curved case with a rubber shell and comes in a number of colours including black, blue and orange.
The 10.1″ screen is fantastic and really manages to produce some bright, crisp images. It also features a great keyboard which has a lot of spacing between keys and is very easy to type on. The touchpad is also fantastic.
It features a standard spec including 160GB hard disk and 1GB of RAM, although this can be upgraded to 2GB. The battery can produce over four hours of power and it features a good number of USB and other ports / connectors.
The Samsung N310 is another great netbook from Samsung that has a standard spec but some nice features such as its design and a very usable keyboard.
