Toshiba Portege R600 Laptop Review
The Toshiba Portege R600 is the upgrade to the R500. It is extremely light and a great upgrade producing one of the lightest machines if you are decided which laptop for business use. It is actually lighter than a lot of netbooks weighing just 825g. It comes with a light weight Solid State Drive that provides 128GB of storage which is not huge but is a good enough size and can be found in many laptop deals online.
The battery in the unit produces a great life of nearly five hours. It is very slim but is well built so it is a good choice for travelling and it is very usable. A great size keyboard and touchpad and 12.1″ screen make it a good choice for extended use. The R600 doesn’t come with a DVD drive which is to be expected from such a compact and portable unit.
It comes with an integrated 3G HSDPA module without the need of plugging in a separate USB modem. This has proven to be one of the best business travel machines available on the market providing excellent performance, battery life and very very light weight build.
